If this ends up on a cd, I suggest not putting Ross' version of Cry to Heaven straight after it
How about my version of AMnesty following that Wasted Youth Version (Which Rocks!)

Lol, I actually quite like that, also your idea of following on from Wasted Youth speech. I think a Meat Loaf tribute video is more appropriate for you however.

If no-one else wants to do the cd production, I wouldn't mind doing it. I can print cds, some simple booklets and have lots of spare boxes. Needs to be one disc though. Anybody want to do the artwork or...? I can probably get in touch with an artist for that too and find something appropriate.

no offence, by that sort of reminded me of this

My honest opinion (not meant offensive in any way)
Try to take the 'performance' down a notch, and concentrate more on the singing. And try to keep track of the orginal melody instead of creating your own

Yougotta point, thats why i won't wanna record any Albums in the distant future. i have said it before, but I am more video-friendly. It seems a bit weird audio wise when you hear me cause I dont sing the best but visually it should make up for that (at least thats what I've been going for)

Thats similar to what Meat wanted outta 3Bats Live. He didn't want a soundtrack release.

Yeah I think we're going to have to, I for one am still trying to get a band together so whenever something happens with that I'll be able to make my contribution.

RJ, I will listen to your version asap, having laptop problems and on a public computer now with no headphones

Made a Real cover in photoshop (like it?):

I'll add the tracks when everything is done.

Edit(R.):

So Far i am re-recording Amnesty and I am gonna try my luck with Two Out Of Three and Modern Gir

IDEA: How about EVERYBODY records their version of BOOH and I'll Mix them together to form a huge finale!

i think a cover should in some way express that it's made by the fans, not by the Loaf.
eg have pictures of fans mixed together instead of pics of Meat.

(and i still prefer the idea of having really painted artwork as cover)

If someone gave me with the photos or something that I could copy I'd be more than happy to paint or draw it - I've got no imagination...
I'd rather copy something that had been finalised as the proper cover first though because I'm quite busy at the mo so I dont want to spend my time on something that wont be used and I'd rather spend lots of time getting one cover right than rushing through lots of different ideas and none of them being that good.
I hope that makes sense lol

I've emailed some stuff to Ross as i don't know how to upload. It's acapella..with added errors..but it's a start. If Ross thinks it won't be totally torturesome maybe he'll upload it for me. I picked the poor boy at random cos i happen to have his email....

I'm uploading it as I type. I've added Carolines two files she sent me together and I have managed to remove the "white noise" as we call it, so you can hear the vocals better. Plus I've added a tiny bit of reverb - sounds

Okay PM me if with an MP3 of you singing a Meat Loaf song. To do this get headphones and a recorder. Record yourelf singing to the song of your choice on a recorder and I can mix the rest and faze out Meat's Vocals.

Songs of this I can do that arnt taken or have Backing Tracks:
  1. Hammerdown
  2. River Deep Mountain High
  3. All Revved Up (LATW Version - I see it's popular)
  4. Bad Attitude
  5. Nowhere Fast
  6. Jumping the Gun
  7. Execution Day
  8. Blind Before I Stop
  9. Rock & Roll hero
  10. AFL (Full 12 Minute Version)
  11. Good Girls Go To heaven
  12. Objects (full version - all 3 verses)
  13. Where the Rubber Meets the Road
  14. If This Is The Last Kiss
  15. Tear me Down
  16. Love You Out Loud
  17. Do It!
  18. What About Love?
  19. The Monster Is Loose
  20. Lawyers, Guns, and Money (Storytellers Version)
Anybody interested make sure it's vocal-only MP3s that you PM me. As I said before if you need music, it MUST be in the correct key so its reccomended you have headphones or Ipod with you as you record.

PM for detasils.

As of now:

RJ (HCW) , AndrewG (FCOL, SU), Ross (CTH), and me (Amnesty, Masculine, MG) have our recordings either done or processing.

If I missed anyone, sorry.
