Default Everything Louder

Does anyone think Meat will ever perform this song live again? Does anyone know Meat's own thoughts on this song? Has he ever spoken about it?

Only Meat can really give a definitive answer, but I gotta say, like Bad For Good, its a 8 minute wall-to-wall vocal kinda song. I think it would be a reall struggle. I wish if Meat does continue to tour, he should sing some not so popular stuff with a couple of BOOH fix-ins.

it's a fast, explosive, powerful song. I honestly dont think he could pull off the song the way it should be. We've seen what happened to BfG.

I never thought we'd see Amnesty live again, so anything is possible, even if unlikely in this case.

On a similar note, has he ever performed "For Crying Out Loud" live on previous tours before? Such a fantastic song!!

It was awsome to hear Amnesty again tbh... Neva heard it Live until August '08.... was quite something....

I have to agree, it would be cool to hear some of his back catalogue being used in the live show but I guess it depends on how he runs the show... what kinda theme he uses.

Like with the last tour, each song seemed to fit in with each other and into like a story of love and hate if you see what I mean

I love the Bat II version...there's a version on the anything for love single which is pretty crap really.

So at this stage in Sir Loaf's career i wouldn't want him to do it live...the best version of amnesty for me is the live version from the beacon theatre ...which i heard the version of it in 1996 in dublin..

Well from the 1993 live track of the AFL single, no way. But their is a recording out their thats alsome where it leads into DRFL. Dunno, mabey it will surface, be interesting to hear a sax beat added in. Much prefer him to do GGGTH or Modern Girl at this stage

I don't think there's any chance of Good Girls. That really is non stop vocals all the way through. Modern Girl would be good, but Meat doesn't seem to like it.

how so? he said during a certain birmingham recording "I liek that song"

He even stated his affection for the bad attitude tracks (Naming "Bad Attitude", "Modern Girl", "Jumping The Gun" and "POTA") in his autobiography saying they were great songs on a poorly produced and rushed album

rule #1: never take anything the loaf says on stage seriously
rule #2: Especially when said stage performance was 21 years ago

besides, it's quite likely he changed his mind about some songs in two decades. 1988 was just three years after the release of BA, that would be as long ago as the bat3 release is to this year.
when was the last time he performed a song off BA last time anyway? guess it must have been at some point during the storytellers tour.

There was (don't know if it's still there) a different live version of Everything Louder on iTunes with a Bat Out Of Hell Live album (the same one that came with the recent anniversary addition of Bat 2).

That version of Everything Louder is the complete song and better than the version off Anything for love single and probably as good as the Cardiff version.

Only snag is that you couldn't get the song on it's own - had to buy the complete album as they're 'bonus' tracks - i did cos Everything Louder is one of my favourite songs. I'd be interested to see Meat do it live now - even if it wouldn't be as good as 15 years ago I'd just like see it performed.

Nope. That is the one that was released on the single.

The one on iTunes is totally different & I haven't seen/heard it elsewhere which is why I bought the entire album to get it - the other bonus tracks on the live album on iTunes were Objects and Frying Pan, but these are the versions from Live Around The World.

just checked iTunes and it seems it is still there - Bat Out Of Hell 2 for £11.99 - Get Bat 2, Bat 1 live and 6 songs from Bat 2 live including the rare ELTEE. There's a generous 20 second clip there too.

Is one song worth £11.99 though?
