Thanks for posting the article, very interesting. I think that "epic" would be the best way to describe what that concert would be like!

Fantastic news!
This probably is the show Meat mentioned as being taped for DVD/PayTV.
Please make it a long show with not only the standards, but tracks like Frying Pan, RnR Dreams, Testify...
(The Kiss CD/DVD with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is pretty good)

I would love to see this, maybe my sister can find a way to get me a copy of some sort.

Slim Dustys funeral takes place also, it was mentioned on the news clip

I really hope this comes out on DVD. The thought of Meatloaf performing with an orchestra is really brilliant. Metallica made their S & M CD performing with the San Franciso Philamonic Orchestra and that is just out of this world.

I won't be able to stop thinking about this now.

I know exactly what you mean ... I have a copy of when Meat sang Home By Now at the Night Of The Proms, and it's absolutely amazing

I'm really glad to see Meat is going to be performing in Perth, W.A.

It seems ages since he was there last - and Perth has always been Australia's poor relation

Can't wait to tell my brother that he's coming - he'll be stoked!!!!

What in the what the? How? How? I've been keeping a keen eye on it all to see if the tickets for the melbourne show go on sale ahead of the tickets for the Brisbane show (I'm still not dicided whether or not to fork out the cash to fly to melbourne to see him with the MSO ) and to see if the tickets go on sale online before the date given for the tickets to go on sale fully... and still ticketek.com says "on sale 9 am Mon 13 October".

Where'd you get your tickets?? I want names!!

but seriously - have they gone on sale yet?? Man - I don't wanna miss out on kick arse seats. I wanna get in early!

Hi Bohemian & Mladay

if you go to the CHSIB part of the message board, look in

ATTENTION AUSSIES!!!!!! CONCERT TICKET PRE-SALE

Follow Caryl's link and instructions.
It took me 3 hours last night to get them, had trouble with the site.
They are for Fan Club Members, and went on sale at midnight last night.

Good Luck !!!!! got my fingers crossed for you !!!
You need to join Ticketek, but it's free to join/register, and you will need your credit card.
