Sounded really good, very funky, and the crowd obviously loved it. I still think the TV show mix wasn't great, but Meat and the band sounded brilliant.

Looking forward to the shows later in the UK! Will be online September 1st to get me somma them tikkits :)

I enjoyed the performance on the George Lopez show and liked the use of the Latin instrumentation. Seeing the performance has me even more psyched for the show and meet & greet in Vegas on Friday. Definitely ready for this roadtrip. Its gonna be a great weekend!!!

Why did he do Los Angeloser when it's the second worst song on the album? He should have done Song Of Madness or Peace On Earth would have made more sense.

Second worst song? I'd rather put that label on "Lesbian" Love. I'm not very fond of Los Angeloser as a live song, too, but I don't think it's bad. It's a nice little song but unfortunately not the kind of music that knocks your socks off or gives you an impression of what gems are hidden on the album.

Maybe this answers your question:

That makes me wish that we had real music shows on TV again, like in the 1970s when you could play songs that exceeded three minutes.

In one of Meat's post on this thread he said that LA fit the 3:15 time they had. Reread the thread for his post, I just paraphrased.

Yeah, but does it make sense (especially after removing certain words you're not allowed to use on TV)?

I'm probably one of many who when rocking don't really care about the lyrics and if they make sense or not

I think Meat has chosen Los Angeloser as the signature song from HCTB, even though it hasn't done really at all well in any charts. You can flog a dead horse so many times but it's still dead.

I was referring to Meat's explanation :

He mentioned that it was going to be the first single very early, in one of the first videos he posted, if I remember it correctly. So it had obviously been chosen before the album was made and they stuck to that decision.

Meat's voice sounds so much better when it's echoing around an arena, the mix is always so flat on these studio shows.

Best TV performance of that song yet though, the energy was great.

I thouht it was great, I think Meat got better and better as the song went on, remember you cant go from 0-1000mph in seconds, you need time to get warmed up.

The spooky thing is, just as I was readign this thread on Los Angelooser, my mobile rang, and I have that as the ringtone, and ti was a unknown number.
Perhaps it was Meat telling me to get off the forum and get a job? lol

I agree with the thought that Meat chose LA to be "the" signature song. I still say it didn't chart well because promo has sucked balls over here (in the US).
End pudding quote response here.

Meat's consistancy to deliver the same song could possibly gain momentum. Why do you think radio stations play one hit of an artist over and over and over again? At the moment HCTB doesn't have radio presence, SO whatever live exposure Meat gets...he's consistantly playing Los Angeloser. Give him props for sticking to his plan, tenacity, and belief in the song (if this line of thinking that is indeed what's going on). I'm game for whatever show Meat can book and I'll watch LA everytime if that's the "chosen one". Like Meat said if you don't like it, don't watch.
