The last concert I saw was a few weeks ago, and it was Bowling For Soup in the Middlesbrough Empire. Usually pop punk isn't my type of thing but there's something about Bowling For Soup that I really like. As with the previous two times I've seen them live it was a great show, got a bit crowded with it being a small venue but still very enjoyable. Also met them after the show for the second time, very friendly guys took time out to speak to pretty much every fan who waited. |

The Backstreet Boys ... and believe me ... me and my gay brother sang a lot better than the boys LOL. It was karaoke-night Before that Tina Turner ... and I was completly amazed by her performance! Deepest Respect! (and soo jealous of her high heels). |

The last concert I saw was Rush last July; they played the whole Moving Pictures album from start to finish. It was a great show, and they have several videos they show which were hysterical. I've seen Rush before, but not for many years, so it was good to see them again. When they played Subdivisions, it occurred to me that the last time I'd heard that song live, it was new (in *cough* 1982...). |

I've only seen him live twice, and the last time was in July 2007 in The Point. Now known as the 02. Before that was in Ardgillan Castle which was amazing. BOOH being played under the moonlight was a sight I will never forget.

Saw Nils Lofgren last night in a semi-solo acoustic show (he was accompanied by a piano/guitar and trumpet playing tap dancing friend). Whilst not the best songwriter in the world, he's up there amongst the greats as a guitarist, this is no slight on Randy at all (who is superb), but he does put him in the shade for playing I'm afraid. After the show he spent well over an hour in the foyer of The Lowry theatre meeting fans, posing for photos and signing autographs. He may be one of the shortest men in rock and roll, but he's awesome! He's guitarist with The E Street Band, Neil Young & Grin if you don't know who I'm on about |

I like the idea of small venues where the artist can interact with the fans before or after the show without charging a small fortune in the process. | |

Amazing night with Nils! As Andy said, with no offence at all to Randy, Nils is probably the most technical guitarist you will ever see. Very different experience for me to see him without the E Street Band but he was outstanding, and one of the most polite people you could ever wish to meet!

Given how many people he met he (from what I heard anyway) was great to each and every person. Hoping he might come out some people had brought specific items they wanted signing and he sat and listened to every person talk through what it was they'd brought and where it was from...he was fantastic |

Loved Southside again, there's something about him I just find mesmerising! The band do my head in somewhat (amazing musicians but they drive me crazy to watch) but I could watch him all night...which I thought we were going to have to half way through the third encore! |
