This song was his best after Bat2... And I donīt think itīs a Webber song, itīs 100% Steinman...

same here.

I don't like the original recording of it. I love the live versions, especially storytellers.

I don't think this song has ever been done well. From what I remember the album version is unfinished, as Meat and Jim had a row and Jim took his ball and went home. I've only heard two live versions: the Storytellers show that has the drums too low and the bass too high, and the TMF studio concert thingummy, which is better but not by much.

Just to clear the speculation, does anybody know if both performances above are live?

I enjoyed both the album version and the live version.

And for the record, soundboard or not, I loved the LATW version of For Cyring Out Loud. Gave me chills.

Two things that I'm currently wondering:

a) Why did Meat omit A Kiss from the VBO tour? Is it a ~~~~~~~ to sing, does he not like it or is there another reason?

b) FCOL was done during a soundcheck so there was ample opportunity to mess about with it, yet Meat got the odd word wrong and they left it in. Why? To make it seem even more live?

I saw him in Toronto and he played KISS.

I think he just wanted to do it and felt it was good enough left as it was
