I've got the More Than You Deserve/Presence of the Lord on vinyl, can run it through any recording medium or studio desk, just let me know and I'll get it to you.

Stand By Me, do you mean the B side released in '84, know you recorded it some time before. If that's the one can send that as well though you can get that easy on ebay, B side to Nowhere Fast if I remember right.

The Popcorn Blizzard - Once Upon A Time/Hello single is a tad rare although the tracks were re-released on on a various artists vinyl album in 1990, album called Michigan Mixture Volume I, albeit unofficial. You can get it for $14 - $40 in USA on discogs https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/248148974

Oh it's great - if you can fly to Mancs or London you should definitely try and see it - failing that Toronto in October! You and Jimmy will be proud

Got all of 'em. Popcorn Blizzard on LP and CD (the one linked to iTunes above), two versions of the More Than You Deserve/Presence of the Lord single, and Stand By Me on the Nowhere Fast single (along with Clap Your Hands and Stamp Your Feet) and some 1990s compilation CD.

Also, the musical is stark raving awesome.

Ahh Meat, what you got lined up? Hoping we are getting some sort of 'Anthology' with lots of demos and rare live versions. There has got to be so much stuff you could release that would be great for fans and make you lots of money if released?
Saw the musical a few weeks ago in Manchester, Absolutely blown away by it, I'd forgotten how much those songs meant to me from hearing Bat for the 1st time after my sister gave me the tape, to seeing you in Sheffield almost 29 years ago as an 11 year old and to having Heaven Can Wait played at my mothers funeral, your music is LIFE!!! Hope you are doing well, Miss ya! x

I've got all three. Even if i can't find originals I'll hunt down obscure compilation CDs or rare mp3 vinyl rips to get ALL of your releases. Just love all your stuff, basically. Sorry for the gushing reply but it's true. :) Really hoping for a compilation of b sides/remixes/ rare tracks.

Intrigued now. I'm imagining a sort of career retrospective ŕ la Springsteen's Chapter and Verse, which as we all know is the accompanying album to his autobiography. Possible vol 2 of your memoirs maybe? 😉

10 years ago I made a double CD with Meat rarities and bonus tracks. I listened more than your studio albums. Some songs are really amazing. Please, if you publish a rarities album, don't miss Keeper Keep Us, it's one of your greatest vocal, and the duet with Pavarotti, what was the top of your career, I guess.

Hi Meat -

Just wanted to say that I saw the show in Manchester on the 25th of Feb. and it was the most amazing show I've ever seen - and I've been to lots of musicals! I am still completely enthralled by what I saw and heard, and I've never had withdrawal symptoms from a theatrical production before. I didn't want it to end and now I'm really missing it. Definitely need to go again (and again)!
