He's inadvertently giving the 'reverse peace sign' or the 'two-finger salute'! In the UK, that's equivalent to the one finger salute in the US. Like I say, it's completely innocent in this pic, but that's how we in the UK see it, we see it alot on TV by complete accident, we just laugh it off!

They are all "flipping a bird" - in US middle finger, in Britain - don't know...but it is a bird flipping for sure. They just wanted to make the picture "clean" but there was no mistaking what they were doing...

That's interesting Needmoremeat, I never knew about that, that and inverted peace sign was equivalent to flipping the bird. in the UK. I learned something new today.
