Thanks for telling about jon's health probs towards the end of the tour, I didn't know about that. I think that might explain alot about the concert.

I'd love to see someone like The Darkness open up, hmmm I bet Robbie Williams might be a strong contender on par with Cliff perhaps?!
I saw them in Scotland (first of the UK) and they were woeful - that is when they were meant to be 100% physically. I saw them at the end of the tour (wembley) and they were outstanding. So its nothing to do with being 100% condition - when they were 100% they were poor - when they were less than 100% fit they were good - its about being consistant or more to the point being up for a concert - they appeared to have no interest in playing Scotland when I saw them. They didnt want to be there.

What concert did you see Leah - hardcore bon jovi fans posted that Hull (the last of the tour - why Hull?) was woeful too. Again, nothing to do with physical condition but more to do if they actually wanted to be bothered doing the show.

Thumbs up

I saw Bon Jovi at Hull on the extended tour and they were knackered but still managed to put on a really good show and although for me nobody will ever be better than Meat these come a close second and so it should be between bon Jovi and Meatloaf to open Wembly

Yes I saw them playing at Hull and I was so dissapointed with their performance especially with them being such a 'big' band, Jon looked as though he didn't want to be there at all, his body language and facial expressions said it all. I came away thinking that Jon was just a good looking singer with no personality however Richie really surprised me and I'd rather listen and watch Ritchie perfom the songs over Jon, he seemed to have more passion in him for it. I don't think i'll be buying tickets to go see them again now i've been but thats just my opinion!

the manchester gig i went to was one of the best of the tour, the coventry gig after that was also gig even tho Jon Bon Jovi was suffering with bad hayfever, they may not of been 100% but the put on good shows throughout the tour, i dont think many ppl can do what they do. The manchester gig was the best gig i've been too, they jus edge out Green Day at MK which was also an amazing gig.

P.S they never played wembly, it was MK

Well that was my third time seeing them, and I've always been impressed with the show they put on, I love the music, and Jon and the band always seem to be enjoying themselves whenever I've seen them...

I'd love them to open Wembley, it seems only fitting considering they were the last band to play the old stadium and they WERE due to open it, if it'd been finished in time...

for anyone that wants to know Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora are planning on a new album (country) with duets with other country artist and also to give some local songwriters a chance to shine, something like that anyways. so there should be another album soon

Given they finished the last tour refusing to speak to or aknowledge each other, that would surprise me.

I think a charity do with the best of British old school greats would be pretty cool

well they have been doing a couple of shows in the states and they are all on good terms with each other, reviews from the shows says they were havin a wicked time when they were playing a gig and jon and richie were interacting really well. i havent heard on the official boards about the tour ending on bad terms and them not speaking, where did you hear that?

also interviews that jon has been in have stated from him there will be an album between him and richie which will be a country record.

all i know bout what happened at the hull gig was that jon was in a foul mood? and richie did played something wrong at which point jon got frustrated and richie jus stuck his tongue out at him, something along those lines, also jon had slipped on the ramp at the gig apparently he has had a bad back for a lil while? im only saying what fans have said who were at the show. In the US the lastest gigs are going really well and they are on top form, and no tiffs in the band.
