Really can't see anyone paying a great deal of attention to this, you just keep doing what you do best...though maybe change your shirts over and over so they can't edit your videos!!

The editing was glaringly obvious, just as the on-line article simply took odd words out of context. And no, you probably didn't do yourself any good, but it's hard to think what you can do right now. Campaigns like this, started by a few zenophobes and becoming a band-wagon that empty vessels jump on, are incredibly hard to fight and win, even if you have no feelings left about the issue; what you've been subjected to is appalling and must still be very raw

You know in your head what this was about and that it doesn't represent the majority of Australians, and certainly not those cheering thousands who DID go to your shows .. and imo the few who claimed to have been to shows and hated them probably hadn't been within hailing distance of one, let alone been in the audience. Any jackass can make claims on the net!

However hard it is, leave it behind you and do what you do so brilliantly in NZ. As to getting a press agent .. get a good one and seek their advice on timing and value as well. Bullies soon look for another target when the pay-off diminishes.

Try and hold in your heart that you entertained so many thousands who had a night they will always remember, and remember it to. I doubt you'll have lost a single fan who genuinely loves your music and the unique and wholly decent man you are. And they are the reason you were there.

We're not the whole reason you do what you do in my view .. you do it because you have been given a gift and the inner drive to use it to the best of your ability while you're on the planet. But we are the best reflection of it's infinite value Try and keep that reflection in your view

I think GDW may be right. It won't stop people from hitting your page, you tubes, create hate groups, and things of the like. Now that they exposed what drives you nuts....the trolls will harp on it and drive you more nuts. On top of that, the AFL fans don't seem to be a forgiving bunch, as I went toe to toe with them myself. Perhaps an apology to the AFL fans will give you some personal peace. Just my thoughts.

The link (thank you!) takes me to an Aussie news site, but once there, the tape doesn't play. I guess it doesnt play outside of aus--or at least at my locale. No worries, i can only imagine it's chopped up.
