Birmingham
Hi all, never posted before so hope i've put this in the right place. Me and my son are travelling to birmingham on the 13th for the concert on the Monday. Do any of you folks from birmingham have any idea what i can do to entertain a 13 year old during the day on the Monday, i've never been to birmingham before so any help would be really apprecited. thanks

Being a girl my idea of entertainment in Birmingham is probably very different to your 13 year old boy's!
For shopping there's The Bull Ring which leads out into Birmingham centre, that's pretty huge although not sure it'd be massively entertaining for a boy... Cadbury World is a few miles away from the Bull Ring and New Street train station... If you have a car you could drive down to Kidderminster to the safari park - I'm 21 and still love the place! The animals are used to the cars now so interact with the public a lot, and it's pretty cheap to get in... |

I agree with Michael, I used to teach in Birmingham and STILL haven't managed to get to Cadburyworld!

Hi,
In the city centre there's the Sea Life Centre and a few minutes walk out of town, at Millennium Point, there's the Think tank science museum. Have a good day, Sharon |
