Has this ever happen to you on EBAY???????

Man I don't get it first they started calling and mom wouldn't answer there calls cause they were asking about our old name on ebay. Now as of today we get a collection agency letter saying we owe 172 bucks. No links or name on ebay letter. I have searched everytime they have called and there is no Btstar442 or Btstar350 on there. I want to know what the hell is going on since years ago I tried to get under our name and ebay said it was deleted so that's when I came up with a different name on there 4 years ago. I hope we can get this cleared up I don't want to loss my current name over some dumbass hacker or ebay mistake. Our old name hasn't been used in 7 years plus they said they deleted about 6 years ago when we lost AOL. I checked on ebay for the name nothing but close names with 100% feedback and no one matching our old name. Has this ever happen to anyone on here?

happened to me, when I was deleting my AOL.
Wanted another provider, that was cheaper, waited a half year for the new connections, but they screwed up, so I got AOL back. Wanted my old name, they said it was deleted, but when I tried to register with that name, it didnt accept it. On the other hand, theres nobody using that aol name, not even today, but it still says the old name isnt available.

Well got the 172 dollar amount taken off, got into the old ebay account deleted it but got to wait 6 months for it to be fully deleted. Looks like the guy/girl or whoever used it to sell and get 172 dollars and that was it. They even made up a yahoo email with the name. They even went as far as changing the name some what and changed the password. So I think they are done and ebay knows about it so it won't happen again hopefully. So now I got my figures crossed for 180 days to go.

Some joker ( altho no-one found it funny) stole my mums ebay account and started buying cars and sending them to Russia- we got harrassment fone calls saying we no where u live we r going to slit ur throats u thieveing wat nots and the like... ebay is dangerous!

Your kidding.....No Joke?.....Wow cause we never got anything like that before. Just some calls leaving messages on the answering machine and when I got asked about them all I could say is "That account was deleted cause that's what ebay told me". So what did you guys have to do to get EBAY off your back?
