My thoughts too or it could even be a TV concert such as Live In The Neighbourhood, Meltdown, one of the German TV broadcasts, etc. Would be interesting to know.

(Puts cynical head on) Or it could be another mess up from Amazon ... how many times have we seen releases listed on there that have never appeared?

... well there's that too! But if they have a studio name, catalogue number & release date there must be some substance to the info even if the product never materialises. Guess as usual we have to wait and see.

Recently in the Netherlands a DVD with a more or less similar name was sold, and it appeared to contain tracks from the Melbourne DVD.....

A picture of the cover would do the trick!

o I have that - a friend sent it me... Its on Ebay alot and you can also get it from Amazon and HMV and Play.com infact... Waste of money that dvd is imo - as like you said, its got most tracks on the MSO and the dvd looks like a dvd a fan has made.

If that's the one Ankie there won't be anything there that most of us won't already have in a very much better form. There are already 3 versions of that DVD available!

Got this in my notes this morning. It IS the crap version.

It's called Bat Out Of Hell Live

1 LIAL
2 DRFL
3 Testify
4 ARUWNPTG
5 OOTFP
6 IDAFL
7 Heaven On Mainstreet

They (Synergy) are known for dealing in mash up dvds and selling them on at a high price.

Its got a different cover though, its got meat on the front with 3 heads behind him.

Its the same as the one on amazon with meat leaning against a wall.

I doubt anyone will bother with this one!

Thanks Kev. It's crazy that this "new" DVD will actually cost more than the excellent "Live With The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra" (on Amazon at least) and will only contain a handful of the tracks.

What a prize! I remember paying 5 euro's for my copy of that crap one.... which is just over 3 GBP.
Just like you said, Diane; most of us will have the amazing original Melbourne DVD, which is worth every penny one spend on it!
