Question Meat's first live show in 2008 (Recorded for DVD?)

Seeing as RAH has been apparently dire over Ontero's DVD recording, is there a possibility that they might actually record Patty's Come-Back Concert with Meat on DVD? usually i find that when Meat comes back on an extended holiday he's more energized.

Could be a success like the Elton john Dream Ticket!

as i said in the other thread you mentioned this in. i doubt he will do another dvd so soon after releasing one already, and Patti's homecoming is not a big enough publicity tool to sell it to the general public to warrant that.

I would love it but i think its highly unlikely

It would be nice if he'd get a couple of songs filmed and put them on his website for members.

or a live cd, thats better than anything else .

As he's planning a new album, they might do what they did for CHSIB, record a few tracks and release it as a bonus disc.

Who knows???? but more than anything, I think it will similar ot the Hair Of The Dog Summer Tour 2005... All about Meat Loaf havin' fun in summer

Those came from existing live recordings not new ones. It's unlikely they would bother with all the recent material they have from MSO and the Ontario show, they would just use those.

The only reason I would see fit to release yet another live DVD is exactly something like RAH, a very popular intimate venue jam packed with fans rather than just another show with a completely stale audience.
There are not enough excuses in the world to use for why RAH wasn't recorded and put out there for everyone to enjoy again. Massively missed opportunity imo, and I'm saying that eventhough Patti wasn't even there!

It's highly unlikely that will appear on a CD ever I reckon. Although I thought it was a gorgeous bit the crazy lawsuits between Jim & Meat probably prevent that from getting released, either studio or live recording.

I agree RAH was a missed opportunity - it was a phenomenal show! I would have bought it. If he ever plays there again, I'm going!

although it looks like it has been recorded for bat3, so a studio version shoiöd exist. at least it appeared on those first tracklist drafts which appeared AFTER the recording of the album

yeah, i understand the reasons for not doing RAH but i think pretty much everyone who was there will say it was his best show for years.

Also would've been a nice keepsake for those of us lucky enough to be there

Meat should record a dvd in england for a change cause the last (well vhs was 1985) at Brixton for bad attitude. Now with that Pattis is back it would be fitting.

The ontario dvd is ok, but really missed the presence of Patti.....

hope you didnt think i was picking out your post Grasshopper, i was responding more to the speculation as to what rights Meat had to what, he may have just decided it didnt fit in with what he was trying to do with bat 3.
