Thats spooky i was talking to my client about him on Saturday!! He was a very good friend of her family and she said he was very ill and only saw family now She remembered as a child the wonderful stories he would tell and always had a group of children sat round him hanging on every word!!

A legend in childrens television - they sadly don't make them like they used to!

I was chatting with colleagues over lunch last week on the topic of TV memories and we came to the following conclusion.....
Good & solid childrens Tv in the 60's & 70's = good & solid teenagers/adults of today
Lousy & patronising childrens TV of the 90's = binge drinkers & knife crime

Of course there are a few exceptions to the rule!!!!!

I know isn't this really sad news...

I remember seeing Ivor The Engine on tv years back, I must of only been 6/7 then but I used to get up on a sunday morning to watch it.... what a cracking programme.

I bet I'd still find it a great programme to watch if I saw it now... hmmm might ebay it or utube it sometime
