what's your favourite ML related artwork?
I know, I know, another one of those endless what's your favourite threads lol
But this one is (remotely) Meat Loaf related! What's your favourite artwork, that is in any way related to Meat Loaf? I'd go with the Dead Ringer cover. I have no idea why though. |

I think i agree there if we're talking artwork. If we were talking pics of Meat on albums that would take longer to decide. Also Love the cover for Bad For Good ( i know it's Jim) and WTTN is great too. Never could make up my mind

Dead Ringer as well, and, although I have hated BatIII artwork way in the beginning...it grew on me very well...

Bat I and Welcome to the Neighborhood. Could do without Bat III, maybe because I don't like Julie Bell's paintings very much in general.

I really don't know why but it's Welcome To The Neighbourhood, in a way I prefer Bat 2 but WTTN is my favourite.......that doesn't make sense but I know what I mean.

Bat II cover, i've liked Michael Whelan's work since I found out he was the artist in question.
Bat III isn't too bad, some of the booklet art is pretty good, especially the one they were going to use for blind as a bat. Welcome to the neighbour was great with the pulp art and the Bat cover obviously speaks for itself Dead ringer was ok, but nothing else really. |

Bat 2, possibly because of the nostalgia behind it for me :)
From the moment I unexpectedly pulled out a pristine vinyl record of Bad For Good from the back row of a record shop that is half the size of my bedroom, I have loved that cover! Never expected to find it so easily, and in such beautiful condition, it looks stunning on my wall! |
