The album is now on the Marbecks and Sounds websites:

I think these may be pre-order only, as I have been told by stores at which I've enquired that the album will be out in about two weeks. The Marbecks site lists the album release date as 16th May, which is strange given what I've been told elsewhere. Perhaps it is the other stores that are really slow in getting it in, I wonder... The album is apparently on a listening post in a Sounds store in Wellington, so if any of you are going that way soon, have a look! I've even considered taking a trip there just to see it.

I have emailed the Good Morning programme, to suggest that Roger Marbeck review the cd in his music segment. I suggest that any other kiwis wanting to see the album reviewed on morning tv to email him via Good Morning, or via the Marbecks website above.

I have submitted some Meaty websites to an internet magazine for inclusion in their M-Z segment of their list of artists websites, so hopefully that will get some attention. I also mention the album from time to time on other forums as the opportunity arises. I don't want to `spam' people with advertisements for the album, however, so I'm careful of that.

Any Aussies who haven't got the album yet who still want it before its Australian release in August could order it from NZ.

Good job on the Netguide info. Shane. I had read you were submitting various Meat Loaf site to them.

I noticed the inclusion of Meat on Sounds on Friday. Have been round a few Auckland CD stores yesterday (Saturday) and still none of them have it. A point of interest is the cover of the CD I got from the UK was Blue, but on sounds site it is red, with no mention of the bonus CD.

I even tuned into the new release video clips on Saturday morning on tv but alas, no Meat there either.

CHSIB (the single) isn't being released in NZ, so I think it will be unlikely to appear on any radio or tv programme.

But if you know of any album chart countdown (as opposed to single) on radio stations in your area, tune in when the album is on the charts.

Universal tell me that it was officially released on Thursday 15th May, so if it is not in a store, that's the store's fault. They gave the catalogue number 0760382, which they say is useful if you're in the position of having to order it.
