my boyfriend RSG recently got me into meatloaf, and i got wondering was Kasim supposed to be a character in Aladdin?

Ah, I always wondered when this subject would surface. Kasim's name was given to him by Jim Steinman, after a character in "A Thousand And One Nights", since that is exactly how long it took to record the original Bat album.
