Default ON-LINE BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MEAT

As usual we're hosting an on-line card for those who'd like to send Meat a Birthday greeting. I'll send him the link on his birthday, but if you want your message to be included in the hard copy version which I'll put in the post, please add your message by 18th September.

Thanks to all who wrote messages on the card. It's printed, bound and winging its way across the pond as we sleep :) Meat will also have the link to the on-line card to pick up any late greetings.

An impressive showing this year .. not least our French contingent!! :)

A great thanks to you Caryl for managing all the process with this Card. You can't imagine how french Fans were happy to have a way to express their love to Meat and to thank him for his music.

Lots of them wrote in french because they don't master english, I hope that Meat will understand their greetings nevertheless.
All I can say is that their words come from the heart.

Yeah, thanks Caryl for giving us the chance to wish Meat a Happy Birthday, he is a very special man and is dear to all of us. I'm sure Florence Meat will understand and realise the messages come from the heart.

You're right Carole, I think that Meat will understand it too and that he'll be pleased to read the messages from all around the world.

Hello Caryl,

I'm asked by several people who signed the card if Meat received the physical copy. Do you know if it travelled safely to him?
Thanks a lot for your answer.

As I couldn't deliver it by hand this year I used a signed for mail service, so it was certainly delivered according to the Royal Mail :) .. and I also sent him the link to the on-line card. I'll be putting up a Christmas Card soon :) Probably someone will say it's too late or too early .. lol .. but I want to post the hard copy version off in plenty of time as this year we'll probably be suffering delays due to postal strikes as well as high volumes of Christmas mail.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer, Caryl. I'm sure we can rely upon the Royal Mail concerning the delivery.
