Default So long Johnny Fontane.

Al Martino passed away yesterday at the age of 82.
Perhaps most famous for playing lounge singer Johnny Fontane in The Godfather trillogy, Al Martino also had the first British number 1 hit (Here In My Heart) when charts were started in England in 1952.

So long Johnny, and tell Don Vito we say hello.

might add his evergreen "spanish eyes" is known all around the world as well.

How sad.
I saw him live a few years ago. Was quite a sad thing. He was one in a bunch of crappy b-celebs in a german tv show i attended. Wasnt even allowed to sing live most of the time and had to perform a "disco medley" of his greatest hits...
