What happens?
I know about Stonehenge, and I know what a solstice is, but I don't know of this event you're referring to. Could you describe it? However, I won't be able to go. |

In this summer I'm gonna go to Malta (again)! There are the most ancient buildings (churches) of Europe. These are older than Stonhenge, than Pyramids in Egyptan.
There 2 churches and their names are: Mgarr and Hagar Qim! My nation name is "magyar" in Hungary. (Mgarr=magyar) Hagar means in our ancient language is "templom" what means church. What an ancient connect between Hungarians and Maltese! I think their ancesters was Sumerian like ours... Well, what do you know about Stonhenge. What was it? I know it was an cultic place of (maybe) Druids. And more? |

No not whitch craft Tim!!!! The Druids believe it has special significance, I think it is just a truely awesome place. The stones are shut to the public all year but open this one night so you can be amongst them, the year before last when I went there were about 13000 people there. Just a big party!!! The stone are old and there are many theories in there making and placement, the sunrise on the 21/6 (midsummer) is 'suppose the come directly in line with the main stone....
A really crazy night music, fireeaters, jugglers. stilt walkers, dancers etc etc, wonderful atmoshpere and the sunrise was magnificent. Kat if you go this year email me... |
