PLEASE... view one of my sketches.
For the past 7 years i have written and performed comedy sketches with my partner A.J. It was only recently through being at Uni together we found time to film some of our material.
There is only one sketch up at present, but more are ready and will follow when a reliable connection can give me the time to upload. Overall, content is not overly suitable for younger audiences. What you will see in this sketch is Simon & Kevin who are 2 inappropriately behaved childrens T.V presenters. Please keep in mind the clip is one short sketch so if its not for you dont prejudge the rest before you've seen them, as i genuinly believe there is some funny stuff. Also, it is part of a demo reel, so its not super tv quality etc etc. Anyway, rambling. Heres the clip, please watch, show to folks, pass it around and enjoy. But ive used some Meat music which fits wonderfully, i do hope he doesnt remove it. See my thread on copyright in general messages, this sketch is what i was talking about. So yes, please watch, rate, comment and show around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEhM9...layer_embedded |

Sorry m8, did watch the first two and can't face the third, seemed very dated to me almost like a paler version of Hale and Pace. Also felt somewhat uncomfortable watching the disabled one, just felt wrong.
Each to their own and others may find it hilarious........I didn't |

thank for the feedback. The disabled one, i think like with a lot of humor, people dont know if they should laugh or complain.
Please do bear in mind these are only prototypes. We are university students with no money, average equipment and not a great deal of good spaces to work in. Who can only develop when we arent doing other crap. Not to mention the list of writers should only be A.J and myself as the others were written there mearly as a courtesy for ideas. What are you talking about! the disabled one is hilarious! lol. sorry, kidding. each to their own. i love the character, for me its not about the disability. Its the fact the character is so driven, yet so incredibly thick, in writing he gets his rewards so it isnt all for nothing. Not trying to defend myself, well, maybe a little. Its just that it is a joy to play. Please dont let what you have seen put you off as the sketches DO vary. Some are a bit blue and some are more whimsey. Thanks for watching anyway. Richard. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee I'm a nice person, really, i am. |
