i imagine (probably wrongly) what caryl finds a shame is that after all of meats best efforts to control the drip feed of information to keep most of us interested and ready for the next bit of info, the promo of the vid has slipped through the net and got leaked a smidge early and missed its official premiere and possible official impact!!!

Hmmm....a shame yes...but have you looked into this vidzone. It's a free streaming of videos but to Playstation3 gamers members only. Unless vidzone tweets it or has another mass medium to get the video out, looks like those non-gamers won't have access to the video. Also, not available in the US.
http://www.vidzone.tv/ Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something here? The video is supposed to be exclusive tomorrow at 12 p.m. GMT. Suzieq |

I'm was thinking that as Meat posted on Twitter that the game would be available at 12pm on 16th, and vidzone say they have secured the global online premiere of the video and that it will get it's first play anywhere online, he might be disappointed that it has leaked onto the internet and is being posted about the internet 24 hours earlier. It will certainly not be the first play anywhere on line now will it? Not sure where that leaves Meat.
And had it had been kept for this premiere and that was how Meat wanted it, I'd just wait to buy it if I'd been unable to watch it. I have watched it, and will want to buy it. Many I guess won't when they can rip it from Utube, where it has predictably surfaced. Caryl |

It sucks that it leaked 24 hours prior to the exclusive launch. And, no, it certainly will not be the first play anywhere online now. I suppose all there is left to do is wait until 12 p.m. GMT and support the official launch there. Comment if it's applicable, but note, I know I will be as excited tomorrow as I am today.

It is a shame, but almost inevitable these days, with the plethora of communications channels available out there. These things are truly global now, and the more people who get a copy, the more likely it is that someone will "forget" the deadline.
I think you have to remember though that there will still be a great many people out there who don't know a new album or single is on the way. We kinda hunted that sucker down, as we're fanatical about finding out every last detail of everything Meat does but I doubt if that applies to the majority of the world who will see it for the first time as God* intended on Vidzone. *Ie Meat. That reads a bit wrong - I don't mean the majority of the world has vidzone... hell, you know what I mean |

it wasnt meatloaf.de and I'm glad I got to see it a day early! Yes, mea culpa .. typed that wrong .. it is songwriters.de/meatloaf. Wasn't meatloaf.de originally the website Mercury set up in Germany in the run up to CHSIB? Don't think that ones up now. Had I meant that site I think I'd have said shameful I watched it and loved it. It was there before Meat's Tweet went up. I'd have been perfectly happy though if I'd heard it today, as presumably Meat intended. I'm not criticising it being linked on here btw .. I am critical of whoever leaked it to the original site, but see it's been removed. PanicLord wrote: I think you have to remember though that there will still be a great many people out there who don't know a new album or single is on the way I'm aware of that, and hadn't forgotten it But from there it's jumped with indecent alacrity to Utube, and once there things tend to race across the net. 24 hours on Utube is a long time nowadays, and robs vidzone of its exclusive deal imo. But I see it's been removed there as well It is a shame, but almost inevitable these days, with the plethora of communications channels available out there. I note you put the word forget in inverted commas .. and that's the point really imo .. someone knew what they were doing when they leaked it. Nothing sacred anymore. Click www.meatloaf.de and see what happens. It's Universal's Meat Loaf page.

Hey, there are people who just want to hear the music and enjoy the video! I'm sick of this restrictive strategy. I really don't understand that kind of "marketing". |
