If another Wembley date is announced.......
Ok I had an idea yes I know before you start saying......both painful & dangerous anyhow i'll just run it by you all.....
If another date is announced for Wembley...how many people onhere would be up for it???? would it be worth trying to get our tickets altogether?? make a real night of it?? what ya think??? I'm already going to Wembley in Nov, NEC in Nov and Dec and Sheffield in Dec. But I would def. go for another Wembley date |

It would be nice if concert tickets could be offerd for sale to club members before they go on sale to the public.
The way things are now,all the good seats are sold within minutes to ticket touts who charge fans a fortune for seats that should have cost us a lot less . I've seen tickets selling for up to £230 on e bay . It wouldn't be so bad if Meat was actually making some money out of higher ticket prices,or if the tickets were being sold by genuine fans because they've booked tickets then found out they can't get to the show, but I don't like the fact that we have to pay other people for tickets for no good reason |

Hi Sin,
What a great idea. Thank you, hope it workes out! Because e-bay is soo expensive. I phoned a 'ticketbroker' and I just can not believe how much they ask for a ticket! And if that is the only way to see a show, with a good seat, I WOULD pay the money. But somehow this doesn't seem right. A few days ago my German friend bought tickets at e-bay for Wembley (18th), we are still looking for the 17th. We would very much like tickets for a third concert aswell. I wouldn't know what I can do to help with this, being in Holland. But if there is anything I can do, please let me know. Great day to you, Mariella |

Why would it be ok if Meat was making money out of it and not ok if someone else was?

He's the guy we go to see. What money Meat makes,he earns.I'd rather put money in Meat's pocket than anyone else'sIt's not fair that anyone should make more money from ticket sales than him. Just my opinion . |

Not saying I agree with either side but....
IMo Meat has enough £. At £30 a ticket I thinkt hats enough for anyone to pay! But if someone has the initiative to buy tix then sell them at a profit good for them. Meat still gets the same amount of money from the original sale. If you ask me (ok u didnt but) tcket prices and merchandise prices are a joke anyway. Even the album was a rip off!!! Charge the price of a double cd but dont add any extra music?! Whats that all about?! |

Hi Kat.
Don't get me wrong,i'm not begging Meat to clear my account out. £30.00 is a fair price. But the averege price of a pair of tickets on e bay is approx £200,thats £100 a ticket.A profit margin of £70 each .Thats nearly double the original value. Also consider that out of his £30,Meat has to pay Pattie and the band, his managment, the venue, transport, promotion costs, accomodation and a million other hidden charges. OK,I couldn't afford to get the tickets when they were first issued so i've had to pay the piper.Luckily I got a pretty good deal, but I still felt the pinch. But I also feel sorry for the fans who were not so lucky and will either have to pay through the nose for tickets or miss out and settle for reading reviews on this forum. |

Mouse -
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's right to charge people more than tikets are worth coz after all whoever is buying them wants to see the show so why should they pay more! I'm just saying I can see why people do it and it makes no dif to Meat. Sure Meat doesn't get £30 for each ticket but even if he got £1 from each ticket and you took wembley as an example thats whhat? 15,000 seatrer? 10,000 at the least. £10,000 would do me for 2 or 3 hours work! Even if he got 50p or 25p for each ticket that still £5,000 or £2,500! That's around £1000 an hour at least! Sure beats minimum wage! and no I didn't say he didn't deserve it, if thats what i thought I would have tix for all UK gigs!!! Just saying it's not like he is getting a bad deal out of it! |
