Meat Video on ebay?
There is a Meat Loaf video on ebay at the moment and it says it contains three concerts.
One is from Brixton Academy 1986 - is this the Bad Attitude video? There is also one from Germany 1982 and Meltdown 87 Im thinking of putting a bid in but I don't want to buy the video if it's the Bad Attitude video, so if anyone knows of a 1986 gig that was filmed there then let me know. |

I think the Bad Attitude concert was filmed earlier than '86.

Hi Renegade Angel, I've checked both my Bad Attitude videos which are identical in songs, and both released in 1985. One was released through Arista and the other through BMG. The only other difference being that the Arista video cover shows Meat wearing a pink shirt, leather jacket, standing in front of a mike, with pink and blue hankerchief tied to microphone as he points forward with his left hand. The background is a bike with girl sitting astride. The other cover by BMG shows Meat tinted "orange" holding both hands forward and he's wearing a black shirt, visible belt and black trousers. Hope this info helps u.
p.s. I attended this filming of the video as all fan club members were invited with a guest to be extras. |

Cheers for the info dottie.
I thought it might be the bad attitude video but the description says something like 'An Evening With Meat Loaf At Brixton Academy1986' this is what got me wondering because I thought the bad attitude video was filmed around 84/85, so I thought it might be a diffferent video - maybe from the Blind Before I Stop tour. I actually would love to see the video because it contains a german concert from 1982 and interviews with Jim, aswell as the Meltdown programme from 1987 although I already have this as I taped it when it was broadcast, but im not gonna pay loads of money just for something I already have. Dottie - was the gig a fan club only show and did he play more songs ect - what was cut from the video? I love this gig, especially the version of Piece Of The Action! |

Hi - Yes it was Meat Loaf Fan Club Members only but we could take a guest(does that make sense)the playlist from what I remember 18 years ago was the same as the video. The atmostphere was raw and electrified. wasn't the most salubrious venue, but then somehow this seemed to add to the atmostphere. We stood on a wooden sloping floor crammed together like sardines (get the picture)haven't been there since but son informs me almost still the same.

Sounds like a good gig dottie - I wonder if Meat will do any more fan club only shows before he retires?, although looking at the size of the latest tour, he's gonna be very busy for a while!!
Greg - that's great hope you win the auction - let me know how much you are willing to sell a copy for cos I would love to see the germany gig. |
