Default Blender magazine

Just got the latest copy of Blender magazine. Great interview w/ Meat. Last issue had a bit on Jim Steinman, this looks like a very cool mag.

You can see some of what was said at MOTS, Jule posted on the blog today. Can anyone tell me what the pic w/ Meat and the sissors is about?

Looks like he's playing "cut out my tongue!" .. Thanks for sharing the article .. we can't have this magazine sent direct to the UK, so have to wait for someone to buy and send it over .. but shame about the blue watermarks all over such a lovely face

Jules,
Thanks for scanning this article- I loved some of the questions that were asked. (Oddly, it appears that Meat follows the Adkins diet, based on his answer to the diet question. That is a very odd diet for a vegetarian as it is protein based! But, it appears to have worked for him, so what do I know?)

Not that odd Sherrie as he isn't a vegetarian :) .. He was for a while back in the nineties, but is no longer.

It's called Mirror of the Soul. Throw in a search, or if you check David's profile I presume he has it listed.

You can read the Blender article here

http://www.mirrorofthesoul.com/blender

MOTS is my website, the address is http://www.mirrorofthesoul.com

Caryl, I will gladly e-mail you the scans without the watermark if you would be intersted in them, I did not know that a watermark would make all that big of a difference. No one has ever said anything about the watermarks on the rest of my site. The same goes for anyone else who is interested. Just shoot me a PM on the message board or e-mail me ( NP2000@mirrorofthesoul.com ). This whole Meat Loaf thing is all about sharing the love!!!

Hope that helps!

Default Thanks!

Thanks for all the kind words of appreciation, sharing the article is the least I could do for everyone. I'm so glad Meat got some press in the US, hopefully this will be a beginning of a big media blitz. With the announcement of the Good Morning America Concert and this nice preview article, looks like things may be heading in that direction.

Still can't figure out the scissors thing.....

Thank you so much Jules and David!

Very interesting article. So nice of you to share this!
Don't understand the scissors either. Just glad he still has his tongue though, wouldn't ever want him to be silent!

So Meat was a vegetarian for a while, does anyone know why that was?
I would like to know because I am a vegetarian.
I was 'born that way' don't 'like' meat...
Well, now I know there IS an exception to every rule

Great day to you,

Mariella

As to why Meat went veggie I don't know .. might have been to do with dieting .. or perhaps he flirted with Buddism? I noticed around that time there were references to Tibet on CD sleeves .. but only the Man himself knows

FYI, for any Americans looking for a copy of this magazine I saw it this very evening at Blockbuster Video. I would imagine most of the BV stores would carry basically the same mags.
