He was the perfect clown And even though his films dated, his humour never did. He lived a good and long life, and leaves a great legacy of innocently simple and side-achingly funny comedy. He was the kind of comedic magician who made you smile as soon as he appeared, and fall about laughing despite yourself.

A tragic loss to the world of comedy.
My favourite Norman Wisdom moment is from the film The Bulldog Breed where he makes a mouse from a napkin to impress a girl who then ~~~~~~s off with a naval officer. There was something so pure and touching about the scene that only someone like Norman could hope to pull off with the same sympathetic effect. R.I.P you funny little man. |
