Strange that you are at a college where they mark you on what you normally do for a hobby anyway, is that course custom designed for you? Not much effort in the first one? Don't really see the point putting the awesome AFL guitar intro in front of Took the Words, these are two completely different songs. It's like putting the "Wasted Youth" speech in front of Objects or something like that.

actually it isnt. This was an extra credit edit. Got an A + on it and bumped my grade from an 90 to a 95 before we let out next week for christmas.

And compare the two took the words. alot of effort went into it. I changed some shots beacuse I took out the hot summer night speech and took out Meat's "What do they mean she said that to all the boys?" during the intro which was very tricky.

Also I like the guitar intro before took the words personally. its what I did for my pops concert after we were done Hide and seek by imhogen heap.

I think the problem is, is that most people (like me) will not have visually memorised every second of that original footage to know how difficult that editing is you have done, thus I don't see the point of it all. But good luck to you. I think I haven't watched those performances in about 10 years or so. To me it just looked like the guitar solo followed by Took the words, thus one cross fade or so.

Default Objects Acoustic version

I like it better then the original (sans a missing lyric that was edited out in the third section).

I think just piano and meat make this song so much stronger!

YouTube Video

For those of you curious, its on the Objects Single with roll over beethoven

I think you're crazy. The whole idea of Steinman productions is that they are ridiculously over the top. Strip that away and it's like eating a doughnut with the jam missing.
