Default The Videos: 4. Paradise By The Dashboard Light

Videos: Paradise By The Dashboard Light

Okay, one more bat promo video, but full of superb acting. Two of the greatest actors, I've ever seen on a stage: Meat Loaf and Ellen Foley! The video contains the best kiss scene, a movie or a video ever contained! Fulla passion. And you can see and hear the most exiting dialogue between a woman and a man, that you've ever seen. Fulla dramatic moments! But the video itself remains simple.

7/10

When I'm listening this song on the album I don't like. I ain't feel the power in this song. But I love the live versions and I love the video. In the video you don't listen the music, you isten Meat and Karla. I love them.

My score: 9

Well, actually you are not listening to Meat and Karla. And no, the actors aren't Meat and Ellen. Just the other way around: Ellen sang the studio-version of the song (which was also used in the video), Karla sang on the tour and acted in the video.

I think it's a funny video. Typical Meat, and you can recognize the song in the video.

My score: 8

I remember seeing this video when I was very young (I was around 7 when Bat was released) and thinking that it was somehow very dirty and I shouldn't be watching it (which made me want to watch it more, of course). I also remember wondering why the big man sweat so much! Now I adore that "big man" and love that "dirty" song.

This is a good video for the time that it was released, before vids became the art form they would maybe 10 years later. I rate it a 8/10

By the acting it's a little better than the other bat-video's

I give it a 7.
