Default Forum Runner issues

Hello everyone,

I noticed that this forum uses Forum Runner for Android and I would like to bring a few issues to the attention of the mods/admins in case there is anything to be done about them....

the application randomly cannot connect to the forum saying that the forum plug-in is out of date and to notify a moderator or administrator *heres your notification haha*

The application also has issues processing forum posts sometimes. This could be an issue with the app it self, but it can be quite annoying...

Thanks for looking,

Tri

I'm using Forum Runner right now, although on iOS, and I don't have any issues at all. The forum is running the latest plugin version which is 1.7.0, so i presume this is an issue at your end. To have a closer look, I need to know
  • What phone, what Android version?
  • Free or paid app?
  • Is the app up to date? Version?
  • What is the exact error message?

Did you try to reinstall the app?

If you'd be using a regular browser, I'd say this is a cookie issue and deleting the mlukfc cookie will fix this. For Forum Runner, I wouldn't know. Uninstalling followed by a reinstall will definetely erase all application settings, so you can start over. Are you running the latest app version?

I don't have any issues with Forum Runner on Android.

Try a "force stop" on the app and see if that fixes it, or try "delete data" (the droid equivalent of deleting cookies). Both options are available from the applications menu in settings.
