Best Opening Song?
BOOH and AFL are not on this poll cause they'd kill it between the two of them.
For me, I always thought Rubber was the perfect start to a Meat record. It makes you think its a ballad ... THEN BAMMMM |

The 1978 UK version of stoney and meat loaf had a different opening track, an extended version of Jimmy Bell, but that's not in the poll. Not that it would win lol

Of that list Peel Out wins my vote.
Have maintained for decades now that it would make an awesome concert opener! |

The music to Peel Out is great, but the lyrics are a bit poor. Not one of Steinman's best.
On a pedantic note why does every other song get their title written out in full, but CHSIB does not? I blame Wario. |
