Axl Rose is Fat now
Yup. And to think starting every concert two hours late was the worst of his problems....

This is a far, far cry from being the real GNR.

He's no fatter than when he toured last year and although he might be late now and then he puts on a great show. I sae him in manchester last year and he was on stage for almost 3 hours. The voice was amazing. People need to get over the fact that slash and co are no longer part of this band and realise that the new band members play the songs just as good if not better than the old band.

Agreed.
Not agreed. Never better than the original band. |

Have you ever seen the new band? The original band were good but most of the gigs in the late 80s, early 90s were messy. Steven Adler, was a full blown junkie, as was slash and izzy and Duff was an alcoholic. I've seen both 'old' and 'new' Guns N' Roses and the new band are much tighter.

even with the old band, Axl was always, at least from my observation, an asshole.

It's like it's a guns and roses tribute act now and Chinese Democracy was a poor man's version of Use Your Illusion I and II, which is saying something since Axl ranted and raved about crazy things on those albums and just continued on again with this album.
The real GNR are to be found on Appetite for destruction, raw, loud and just a great in your face album |

Axl's voice is amazingly intact, who cares of its the original lineup it was always about his voice for me, and his performance. I'd like to see the current lineup some day. |

I can totally understand why some people might think that about him, especially cos of things like being late for gigs and the time it took to make Chinese Democracy ect but do you know all the facts?? He hardly ever gives interviews, he keeps himself to himself and when he performs he puts on a great show so I don't understand why some people are so hard on him? |

Amen to that. When I first heard his voice on Chinese Democracy, it gave me chills to hear it again.

Im sure every artist can be an asshole with everything they have to put up with but to me it's about the performance and the music. |
