Just to make people feel old...I wasn't even born when this happened
Edit: Noticed that this was 20 years since Freddie Mercury & not 20 years since Live Aid - me being stupid! An incredible artist, really love his work & of course such a shame x Last edited by mtaylor315; 24 Nov 2011 at 23:21. Reason: Made a mistake |

Simply put: no one before or since has ever been able to duplicate or replicate anything this incredible man did. Sorely missed indeed.

I'll always remember him for that Live Aid performance...never seen any performer control a crowd like that, amazing.

Perhaps the greatest showman of the last century. Sorely missed but the memories of seeing him live at hi speak will remain forever.

It still seems like it happened yesterday. We lost more than just a fantastic singer when Freddie died.

When Queen did Live Aid, they stole the show. Totally stole it. I have their live in Wembley DVD and they were simply an astonishing band live, somehow managing to make their studio versions pale in comparison. So few can claim that.
