Meat live!
Does anyone know why Meatloaf never plays in concert any songs from Bad Attitude or Blind Before I stop? I really love the songs on Blind Before I Stop, yet as far as I know since Bat 2 came out he hasn't performed any of these songs live... is there any way to e-mail Meat to ask him to play some of these songs or does anyone also know why he doesn't do them? Also can someone tell me when Testify is supposed to come out and what songs it will have on it or is there any other info on it? Please e-mail me at carl_ukip@yahoo.co.uk and help me out with these questions. Thank, Carl

Re: Meat live!
During Storytellers here in the USA, he played whatever song you hinted around, and in Syracuse, NY he was probed to sing "Sailor to a Siren," but he swore he didn't know it, that he didn't remember recording a song by that title and had a member of the audience come up on stage and sing it instead.
He doesn't like Blind Before I stop and won't do songs from it, so I've heard, nad Midnight at the lost and Found is the same case. Bad Attitude I'm not to sure about, I hear he likes that album... He also did Read 'Em and Weep, which I was excited about. |

Re: Meat live!
I don't think he also doesn't like bad attitude becuase Sailor to a siren is a song form that album. I think that he only likes four songs of the three albums. Midnight at the lost and Found and Modern Girl because he has played those songs live after Bat II. Maybe he that he also likes the two Steinman songs on Bad Attitude.
But I agree a little bit with him.'The songs written by jim are the best. Al the other songs are nice too, but have not the impact of jim's songs. |

Re: Meat live!
That is true Jim's songs are nicer but there are two songs on Blind Before I Stop that I think equal some of Jim's songs, and that is Execution Day (written by Meat himself!!!) and One More Kiss, and although I think Meat sings Jim's songs the best he also should sing some of his other stuff. Although I do agree that the 'Blind..' album is not normal Meatloaf, it has that strange electronic drumbeat running all the way through it but on it's own I would still like to hear Meat perform those two songs.

Re: Meat live!
Meat Loaf did "Masculine" as a warmup for a concert in New york in 1993 , thats about the
closest he has ever came to doing that song live. But I was reading a site on the web of a concert reivew in 1999 , and Meat did "Gettin Away With Murder". |
