Default LA show with Cyndi Lauper--report

Just got back from the show in Los Angeles and it was fantastic!!

I couldn't belive the number of people who left straight after Cyndi without seeing Meat? they missed one of the greatest shows and showman ever in my opinion.

Meat was on stage for about 2 and a half hours and looked great you couldnt tell that not so long ago he underwent surgury

One thing hit me as being poor the sound balance was very bad at times meat's mike was way too low and at times the speakers sounded like they were being run too high and were distorting a bit ( i was seated just to the side of the mixing desk )

I know the faults were nothing to do with Meat so it rates 10/10

By the way any plans to fulfill the san Diego date that had to be cancelled? Because if there are put me down for two tickes asap

Well Flying Pig that is pretty cool. Indeed very strange that so much people left after Cindy Lauper.
And about the sound, was it not in a hall orso??? But just in the open air?

But thanks for the little review.

It was at the Universal amphitheatre, i realy did expect far better sound as it is a permanant venue. I have been to far better concerts for sound balance at the NEC in Birmingham or even the old monsters of rock at Donnington(i'm a brit living in the USA).My wife is american and says that the sound was normal for a US concert, but compared to the UK it was bad.

just shows how lucky you guys are in the UK

I can only hope the people who left before meat had to get home for good reasons babysitters etc
