Default The Videos: 15. Getting Away With Murder

Videos: Getting Away With Murder

This promo video shows who Meat's favourite director is. The video seems to be a tribute to the great Alfred Hitchcock. It includes many scenes, which are allusions to famous Hitchcock movies like "Psycho", "Marnie", "The Rear Window" or "Vertigo". In an interview Meat once said, that it was very hard to get the blood down the drain the way the blood was flown down the drain in the original shower scene in "Psycho". To get the circulating motions of the blood in the water was the hardest part of the whole video-shooting. In fact, I like the video.

8/10

There's a lot going on in this video. I don't claim to understand it but it is very entertaining to watch.

I like the bit when Meat is dressed up as an old woman and then gets up and starts to play the guitar. He looks very convincing as an old woman - perhaps he has found his niche in films when he retires from the music business

I give it 8 out of 10

The role of the old woman Meat played, is Norman Bate's mother.

I know all the above are expired but it shows this video compilation including Getting Away With Murder comes up regularly on Ebay and is not actually very difficult to find and often quite cheap
