Default Did I miss something?? Wouldn't be the first time.

I've searched high and low for Meat's new CD. I can't seem to find it. Am I missing something? I apologize if this was already addressed. I've had a lot going on lately.

Please someone let me know where I can find the latest. I'm also looking for a few oldies that I missed over time. I have booh and booh2, storytellers. know of any place I could get the others?

I appreciate any help.

Pauline

The new album "Couldn't Have Said It Better" has not been released in the US yet. It is coming soon though, and will be released there sometime in September (can't remember exact date). I think there's a single coming out sometime this month.

The album has already been released in many other places, and you can get it on the net. There are several different versions (I've lost count). Some include a bonus disc with live video and tracks, others don't. There is also one with a red cover, another blue. I think there are other variations I'm not sure or aware of.

So which version would you consider the best? Live video sounds cool. Does one have more songs than the other? Red Cover? Blue Cover? Besides the color what's the difference?

Thanks again for your help.

The blue cover was for the UK, and the red for everywhere else so far (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). The blue one with the bonus disc is probably the best (I don't have it), because in addition to the tracks and bonus disc that the red one has, the blue version apparently has an extra live track, Bat Out Of Hell from Storytellers. Not all red or blue versions have the bonus disc so you have to be careful when purchasing.

James Michael, one of the writers for the new album, stated on his website recently that there would be new tracks on the one to be released in the US. Also, someone on a Jim Steinman site who claims to be closely associated with Meat, has claimed that Man Of Steel might not be on the US release.

The "Couldn't Have Said It Better" and "Did I Say That" singles have been released in Europe with non-album tracks, and I don't know if they'll appear on any US singles, so it might be worth purchasing the singles.

The blue CD cover is the UK version which I have and is a two disk set. The first disk contains all the new songs plus a live BOOH. The second disk has videos, pictures, bio etc.

I have seen the red and blue albums for sale in the UK. the red cover is the blue version without the bonus disk - so buy the blue 2cd set. The red CD is rare here tho!

Hope this helps!

The red ones (some of them anyway) do have the bonus disc, but I agree, get the blue one from the UK with the bonus disc, because of the live BOOH.
