Meat Loaf's Best Possible Band
What would be the best possible combination of players & singers for the NLE??
The only condition is it must be theoretically possible to gather them together nowadays onto one stage, and for them perform to a good standard nowadays. |

The current lineup is great and there are a lot of great musicians who have played through the years. If I could I add a trio of backing vocalists, but I stuck to the current format.
Drums - John Micelli Bass - Steve Buslowe Guitar1 Paul Crook Guitar 2 Pat Thrall Piano Justin Avery Vocalist - Patti Russo Sax Dave Luther Keyboards Paul Jacobs |

The current lineup is (at least to me) superb , so there is no need to have replacements.
But if I could dream then: Guitar 1 - Paul Crook Guitar 2 - Randy Flowers Piano - Justin Avery Drums - John Micelli Sax, Keyboards - Dave Luther Vocalist 1 - Amy Goff Vocalist 2 - Elaine Goff Above is only my fantasy, but from what I know ... I will repeat myself again - the current lineup is fantastic. |

While Cian sounds excellent in the Youtube videos I've seen apparently it's not possible to accurately judge a performance in this manner, so I'll have to leave her out.
Meat's current band is the best he's ever had, so I'll go with the US leg of the Hang Cool tour when Patti and CC were both still around. |

I have seen and heard Cian live. She's terrific, and Meat's right. He has the best possible band right now |

Nobody was saying the current NLE isn't the greatest. The NLE on the Orchestra DVD was also "the greatest rock and band in the world" as introduced. Meat has great bands so I am sure he always has the best. All incartions of the band have featured some amazing talent.

Ginny Luke added greatly to the overall 'texture' of the sound on violin, I thought ........
