Was never a fan of Seth Rogan in the early days but have liked some of his more recent stuff. This film looked brilliantly bizarre and ingenious already, but that cameo just tipped it for me.
To have a meatloaf singing in it is funny on its own, but to have Meat Loaf actually provide the voice (and not just use the old backing track it with the original song) is absolutely inspired. I did wonder how much this had to do with the re-recording of AFL that is on the album as a bonus track. Did he do the film and think we could record a new version, or was that already done and dusted before this came up. Just curious. |

Seems like it's just the different vocal track from a couple of decades ago?
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/sa...n/id1137789917 https://www.amazon.ca/Sausage-Origin...=sausage+party Both previews are young Meat. So maybe Meat just agreed to let them use the song? If that's the case I'm a bit bummed, I had my hopes up for a new vocal!! |

The soundtrack is on Spotify, and it's a live version (probably a slightly edited version of the version found on the Lie for You single and WttN deluxe). Also, what appears on the soundtrack doesn't necessarily reflect what's in the film.
