Favourite Commercial
I know this is way off topic, but I just saw this commercial, and I just want to know. What's your favourite TV Commercial? Mine is
The hallmark one. I'll set the scene. It's this grandfather's birthday. And he's kinda grumpy, you can tell by the expression on his face. Well, his 5 year old grandaughter walks up to him sits on his lap. and says Besure to read what she says in a rythem, its a poem, and I thought quite funny. "Grandpa?", she says sweetly. "What!?", he says grumpily. The little girl starts speak. "It's your birthday, and you're seventy-five, some people wonder how your still alive". <girl's dad is embarassed and shocked, by the 2nd sentence she said. Then the little girl says "Even though its not your grumpy style, Happy Birthday would it kill you to smile" Everyone is shocked and silent. and then the grandfather bursts out laughing, and gives her a smile. And A big hug. Then in conclusion, they say "If you can say it like Hallmark, You wouldn't need Hallmark" LOL, I love that commercial. |

I love the IRN-BRU advert, the one where the womans having the baby, and it's just not coming out, so the midwife shakes a can of irn-bru between the womans legs, and a baby's hand comes out and grab the can and goes back in, and you see the scan of the baby drinking it, thern it shows the baby burping and the empty can comes flying out between the womans legs and lands in the bin. Fab!!!
I also like the one for Fosters, where the bloke is bungee jumping into the lagoon and as his head dips into the water a crocodile bites it off, and the commentator says...we..he'll definately have a sore head in the morning... cracks me up everytime i see it |

I can't really think of a favourite (unless the one for CHSIB qualifies ).
The advert that really drives me up the wall is for Headex. If you haven't seen it,a woman is in the kitchen.A couple of very loud, high pitched childrens voices are saying "Mum can we have a rabbitt" over and over again while in the back ground a kettle is whisteling loudly. The aim is obviously to sell more headache tablets by giving you the headache in the first place I will NEVER buy Headex . |

Don't really have a favourite advert but the one that drives me up the wall is Bounty kitchen roll (Don't know if you have to suffer this in other countries). Why don't they fire their marketing department?

My favourite is the one for trainers (Nike I think) where the wee boy is running on the spot in the porch because it's pouring outside. Music is Motorhead's Ace of Spades. Brilliant.

Favourite commecials
One of my favourite's is the Rolo advert. The one where the young lad is watching a circus parade and teases the elephant with hs last Rolo. the next clip shows the lad as a grown man, again watching a circus parade and this elephant comes up and swipes him round the ear with his trunk.
I also like the Cadbury Smash adverts with the aliens. You know the one - they boil the potatoes for 20 of their minutes then they smash them all to pieces. |

Any of the John Smiths ads are good, especially the graphic description of the birds and the bees in the indian (before they weren't allowed to use it)
But my all time favourite was for John West salmon. It had a fisherman and a bear fighting over a salmon. The fisherman won by distracting the bear and then kicking it where it hurts most. |

I have a question
On the current BBC adverts for The Big Read, there are three bookworms, one of them is voiced by Ruby Wax, but who are the other two? it is really bugging me as I feel I recognise them!! |
