Meat On Rove Live in Australia

Hi All just same news for those who don't know.

Meat will be on Rove Live on Channel 10 Tuesday Night 7th Oct at 9:30pm.

I'm not sure if it's just a interview with Rove or if Meat will be singing but I will be watch anyway.

Man Rove anoys me. He's a terrible interviewer and he gets to interview so many cool people. He evn got to interview George Martin!! The honourary Beatle himself, and sure enough it was as boring a boring interview can be. Still - one thing Meat is never is boring. So it'll be good for Rove to be kept on his toes. Oh - for all the Americans who might get to see it or hear it: Where he iterviews big stars is a littel set up with teo lounge chairsand a coffee table in front with a huge bowl full of either M and Ms or Jelly Beans. All the American stars comment on it - Meat is sure to do something funny.

I hope he performs live as well. But I heard somewhere I think the Living End is on the show too. Are these two never apart?? Maybe the Living End will end up bieng Meat's support act in Australia??

You're right! Even the most boring, inept interviewer can be turned around--what am I saying?--turned UPSIDE DOWN, when Meat comes to visit!!

Yeah Rove is quite young and he is pretty funny. The interview should be good because Meat won't give him a chance to cart out the REAL predictable questions that have been asked a million times already (Rove's specialty

) so it will probably end up being pretty funny.

Oh man that rocked!

I knew he'd have something cool to do with the Jelly beans! The evry first thing he did was grab the bowl and share em round with the people in the front row. Then when some guy grabbed some Meat looks straight at him and goes "Hey! Did I tell you you could have some?". He ended up later in the interview grabbing a whole handful and chucking em into the crowd.

It was a really cool interview. Meat reached down beside Roves chair and grabbed the piece of paper and goes "What's this?" and read a bit and then goes 'Hey! These are the questions you were gonna ask me!". He went through a few of em... "You played baseball when you were a kid.... oh no that's boring don't ask that. You were in fightclub... Oh that's interesting yeah we can talk about that."

The thing I found interesting is how right at the end Rove mentioned that Bat 3 is coming and also it was the only interview I've seen or heard of Meat in Australia so far where they actually spoke about if this is REALLY gonna be the last tour. Man - I gotta move to America... ot Germany... or somewhere that isn't here where there is lots of publicity like this and cool thing like this happen more often.

I'm running on empty when it comes to sleep so I'll be off now. Perhpas when I return I'll be a little less fanatical.

Well Meat was just on Rove Live and it was great.

Meat took over the interview and when he come out, Rove has a huge bowl full of Jelly Beans on the table, Meat took the bowl and handed them out lol. Then Rove what he should call Meat, like Meat Loaf, Mr Loaf etc, Meat just sat back and didn't say anything just acting like he was trying to think what Rove could call him lol. Then Meat said just call me Meat. then Meat caid well it's better the be call Dick.

When Rove said to Meat that he had just had a birthday, Meat said to Rove if he said about Meats birthday he would throw a class of water over him. Meat did say he does not know what his age is anymore as he has told so many diff dates (1942,1945,1956,1957,1947,1949 etc) for his birthday, then abit later Meat tryed to find his wallet to found out his birthday lol.

he talked about being in Fight Club, and about having the man boobs on and about how all the actor and crew etc all like to touch them etc.

Also Rove Live does a bit called 2 minutes at your house (where Rove sends a crew to a person house and they spend 2 minutes live on air) The person named Adam is a Meat fan and Meat talked to him and the guy showed them around his house, he show Meat book (To Hell and Back) that Meat signed for him on Thursday night, plus same cool Meat stuff on his walls.

it was abit funny as Adam asnswered the door with his belt undone and well Meat had to say samething about it lol.

Well I'm just going to have a look at it again lol hope all enjoyed that saw it, i know i did.

Hey Ian,
That was bad because I always have my pants done up . My wife set this all up its kind of embarrasing on national tv and in front of Meat. I coudlnt hear Meat and Rove as the headphones where to small. And I still havent seen the program as yet I hope I wasnt to much of a idiot I cant believe they showed my stupid bird.Meat certainley was very entertaining.

Hi everyone, I'm Adam's wife. Set him up bad! The camera crew turned up at the front door during Meat's interview, and he was engrossed in the TV he tried to get me to answer the door!!! Meat was very interested in the fact that Adam's belt was undone (and so was the cameraman!) Meat is truly a lovely man and a great performer. He seems to enjoy encouraging young artists, and isn't selfish with his time - if only all famous people could be like him.

Adam I hope you got to tape the show. Also did you hear that Meat is going to be on Saturday Morning Rove (radio show) this Saturday at 10:00am on TODAY AUSTEREO.

Meat is always entertaining Adam

I bet you will be on a high from this for same time Adam.
