Default Runnin For The Red Light Single - Questions

I was looking through my singles the other day & got to thinking about the singles released from WTTN. I know that 'I'd Lie for you' got to about No 2 in the UK top 40, 'Not a dry eye' did pretty well & both of these had good videos. However, 'Runnin for the red light' was also released but I don't remember seeing a video for it, or even hearing it on the radio or anything, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it did actually get anywhere in the UK top 40 and if a video was made. At the time of its release I was only about 14 & just getting into Meat's music so wasn't following his releases in the chart so much as I do now.

Any help would be appreciated. :P

I don't ever remeber seeing a video for this either and would also like to know if one was made.

As far as I know, there was never a promo vid for Runnin For The Red Light, although i'd love to be proved wrong .
As for chart info,it entered the UK charts 27th April 96 and stayed on chart for three weeks.
The highest position it gained was 21.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Mouse, that's great - Almost in the top 20 (I thought it never entered the top 40 - but then again I never listened to/looked at the charts). Doesn't look like a vid was made then , Can't imagine what it would be like for that song though

I think the single was released to coincide with the UK tour at the time and was a sort of limited edition cd with postcards - the b-sides are great - live versions of Deadringer, Lemon and Amnesty is granted.

I'm inclined to agree, although i'm a little confused how a tour edition found a place in the singles charts .
I don't have a copy of the CD that was on general sale ,but I do have the promo and there is a sticker on the back with tour information. Also a 12" picture disc.

As far as I know, it was just a "compilation" of the other two videos from the album.
