Meat Loaf takes person hostage!!! (hilarious news article)

You'll need to scroll about half way down until you get to the part where it says "Afternoon presenter Craig Huggins was recording an interview with Meat Loaf..."

Afternoon presenter Craig Huggins was recording an interview with Meat Loaf shortly before he was due to go on air at 4pm when (a bat out of) hell broke loose.

"I told Meat Loaf I'd need to wrap up the interview because I was on air in three minutes, to which he replied: 'Well, we've got three minutes left then,' " Huggins reports.

"I said no, I had to finish up now to get over to the studio. He bundled me up and wouldn't let me leave, consequently we went off air and our stand-by tape came on."

Studio technicians bravely stormed in to free the DJ, whom Meat Loaf then followed into the on-air studio. Once the microphone was turned on, the singer grabbed it and told listeners the station had gone off the air because he'd taken the announcer hostage.

"Whilst no station likes to go off the air, it was very funny," Huggins said.

With events like these unfolding almost under their noses, crime-stopping duo Grubby and Dee Dee will need to turn their attention closer to home or risk the wrath of Crime Stoppers International. Guys, you have been put on notice.

Just a quick note if you would like to see photos of Meat on Rove while he was downunder go to www.rove.com.au and click on the armchair icon( guests) and go to photos on the 7th of october 03 and there are 10 good photos of meat.

from memory he was talking about his birthday? and the fact that he didnt know how old he was any more......but much beer has dulled the brain so I'll stand to be corrected once i check the tape. I lie, he was actually still talking about the different people on fight club and the different ways they "appreciated" his man boobs. In pic 4 he is talking about the crew and saying they had no class and were just grabbing at them......
