Just thought i'd share this with you - it always brings a smile to my face

Down here, in Welshy Wales, we have a TV channel called BBC2W - basically BBC2, but in Wales, and the other night i happened to be watching an ad for an interview proramme on it, when it showed a clip of Welsh singer Bryn Terfyl getting ready to go on stage, and he was warming up his vocal chords by singing BAT OUT OF HELL!!!!!!!

For some reason, this has really amused me :P !!!!

I saw this, however the tune and lyric was wrong. He sung "Like a Bat out of Hell I'll be gone till the morning comes".
Not much of a fan. . .

I saw that advert for the 1st time today. It wasn't the best rendition of (part of) the song I've heard - Russell Watson did a better job.

But then again NO ONE will ever sing Bat out of Hell as well as Meat!

Completely agree with you there, dukes, but i hafta admit, it brings a smile to me face every time i hear it
