This CD was never officially released in Europe- only in the US. It could be that it will be released over here too... since I got it at home, you can find the tracklist on my website...

that was my firs tthough too - as its not on the disography section of meatloaf.de either. Guess we'll find out November 10th - maybe different bonus tracks or something, fingers crossed. It could have a different tracklist as R+R dream and Kiss was on the DVD but not the music cd

What about the songs that were recorded, but never saw the light of day? I seem to remember he taped Home By Now/No Matter What in the studio that night (according to posts I have seen and chatting with people who were there).

ROCK ON FIRE BALL!!!

This is just the regular CD/DVD release of Storytellers in Germany, which was not released here before.
They have flyers including the tracklist advertising it at the concerts.

and it's currently no 536 in Amazon's best seller list.

Doesn't bode too well for a Charting next week.

Yes, that's the tracklisting of "The Very Best Of"
Look again at the title of this topic, and do note we are discussing the CD "VH1 Storytellers" here.

And as for nothing from CHSIB being on TVBO: the very best of was released in 1998.

It is just the same album.

Got the DVD, the US edition and the bootleg from storytellers so....

Think it has nothing more to add.

I know for a fact that the CD is a re-released "Very Best Of", had it playing nearly all day today at work - working at WH Smith's has it's advantages!

It was also advertised in The Mail on Sunday today - it didn't say that it was a new release or anything, just said that it had all Meat's greatest hits collected together for the first time....

The Very Best of.... was just advertised on ITV straight after Coronation St, part of a Woolworths ad, Buy one get one half price, showed various video segments of Meat's video's on the ad from over the years. Any Meat Loaf related promotion would do at the moment. Cd selling for £15.99 by the way (£7.99 if bought with another Cd).

You cnut.
Well, this fcukin sarcastic b*st*rd does refrain from calling people names.
And also, this cnut (it's Knut by the way, if you're making a Harry Potter reference) does not mind newbies posting on this board. In fact, he does find that fresh blood is rather refreshing :). However, he does find it to be odd that when in the first few posts of this topic the CD Storytellers is mentioned, because that is obviously what ChrisNI is asking about, you post the tracklisting of \\"The Very Best Of\\". I think he does not see the logic in that. Also, I guess I don't need to remind you that there are already two topics about the rerelease of TVBO [1,2].

So I made the mistake of pointing to the title when I should have posted to the initial post. My sinsere apologies, o ye who hath reminded this fcukin sarcastic b*st*rd of a cnut of the flaws in his ways.

I joined this board on Friday, saw a posting, joined in.

No I didn't know of other topics about 'The Very Best of'. I probably would not have known what TVBO meant .

Harry Potter??????? that's for kids isn't it???

You really are a sarcastic knob of the first order. Picking holes in other peoples postings when it's obvious that they are new to this board.

I didn't expect to have the piss taken out of me for my lack of Meat Loaf knowledge when I joined this board. I thought I would be able to learn something and join in.

I'm obviously not needed in this clique.

Goodbye.

Default Rookie Bob and swearing

Ohhhh Ohhh - A bit over the top - found it offensive and thought it was not allowed!

I thought you could get kicked out for that - beware Rookie Bob if you want to stay and learn about the greatest entertainer in the world....
