Default Who should be the male voice?

Here is the other question: who should be the male voice? If Meat sang a duet with other male voice who should be that? I wait the opinion!

I think Klaus Meine from Scorpions will be the best choice! Their voice are similar...

I went with Sting... why? Lemme tell you:

Bono bores the hell out of me (and is overrated too if you ask me).
Jon Bon Jovi / Joe Cocker / Elton John / Bruce Springsteen / Ozzy: They're icons. Meat does not need a big name.
Andrea Bocelli: That would require a classical(-ish) song. Don't see that happening for Bat III.
Klaus Meine (from Scorpions) - have you ever heard him sing? first he needs to take care of his accent, then of the whole nasal thing - and then we'll see...

So that leaves Sting. Yes he's an icon too... but I really dig his voice. Nowhere near Meat's - could be pretty interesting. And besides - if you can make a Craig David song bearable (Rise&Fall) - you're good :)

I think Klaus Meine hasn't nasal voice. He has as the same humming in his voice as in Meat's voice is in.

Rise & Fall with Craig David? Have you ever heard the original version of this song? This is Shape Of My Heart, the soundtrack of Leon, The Professional. It's an old Sting song and the original is so much better with light-years than this new version. Listen that!

I don't think that would be problem when two big names sing together. Mean with All For Love by Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams & Sting or with Under Pressure by Queen & David Bowie...

Maybe its not a problem, but i got the feeling that it will be a problem for Meat. Sting is a very interesting choice, cause they hve nothing in common. I like that, good choice.

and Bono sucks!

No, haven't heard it. I'm not that much of a Sting fan, I just happen to like his voice. But I think Rise & Fall is not too bad... just like I think that Meine dude has a terrible voice. But hey, you seem to like it... good for you!

I voted for Steve Tyler, but I would go for Justin from The Darkness too, a lot of potential there.

How about a non of the above option?
I really don't think there would be a male duet on Bat III.I just can't see it happening.
It would be cool to have a guest appearace by Jim though (like Bat II)

I doubt that there will be a duet with another male on Bat 3 but I think that White On High just means which artist would you like to see do a duet with Meat if there was one - it's just a bit of fun to see which artist would sound good alongside Meat.

I myself can't stand Jon Bon Jovi or Bono and especially Sting!!!!!
I think Justin Hawkins from The Darkness would be a great guest on any of the big rock songs played Live.

Oh yeah,I know, this is just for fun .But this is Bat III we're talkin about .I take Bat much too seriously .
There was another conversation about who we would like to see Meat sing with, and i'll have a say there, but not here when it's conected to opinions on Bat III .

There it is

I assume that this thread is in referance to Bat III,as the last topic like this was who should be the female voice for Bat III.

Can I mention, that Jim was also on BOOH. The intro on Hot Summer Nights. I would love to see another one, like these. Wasted Youth was another good one.

My Opinions

John Bongiovi - He's great, but not for Bat III.
Bono (from U2) - I don't really know yet, I just started getting into U2.
Sting - He's great, but not sure for Bat III.
Klaus Meine (from Scorpions) - Who?
Joe Cocker - Who?
Elton John - Great, I'll say yes, but there are better canidates.
Andrea Bocelli - Who?
Steven Tyler (from Aerosmith) - Ya, he could do it, He's a better canidate ( the one I voted for)

Ozzy Osbourne - He's great, but I don't think he'd fit on Bat III
Bruce Springsteen - Another good candidate, and could fit on Bat III. But again, my opinions, and if there were a duet, I think Steinman would know whats best for him, Meat, and all of us. Steinman just surprises us like that. And that my friends is a good thing.

I voted Sting as he has that sort of voice that although not that great it still stands out and with the right song him and Meat would be great IMO
