Default Anyone read Stephen King's new book?

I seem to recall that we have a lot of Stephen King fans here, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to talk about his new book, The Wolves of the Calla. I finished it about 2 weeks ago, I can't say it was my favorite SK book or even my favorite Dark Tower book, but it was certainly worth reading. The end was a bit worrisome, though I won't mention that without a spoiler warning. Anyone want to chat about SK and the Dark Tower? BTW- SK is also in the midst of health scare as well- he's hospitalized in Maine with pneumonia.

Hi Sherrie,

I hafta admit, although i am a massive SK fan, his Dark Tower books just do nothing for me - i guess it's because the only books i can't enjoy reading are sci-fi/fantasy books. I much prefer the horror novels.

Sad to hear though that he's having more health problems - here's hoping he's better soon.

I've read almost every SK book untill I was about 19 (oh my god that's nearly 10 years ago :o )
I was a true horror fan, but then my reading interests changed, sometimes I took one of the older ones out of the shelf (CuJo, Dark Half,....) But I never liked the dark tower books

I'm a big SK fan but must admit I haven't read his dark tower series or Buick 8.

Let's hope he's better soon.

Hafta agree with a couple of other posts! I love most of Stephen Kings books but i am not a fan of the Dark Tower series.

I am nto sure why, they just do nothing.

Right now i am reading Meats autobio. And last night i finished Robert Harris - Pompeii, and John Grisham-Bleachers.
