Any one seen 'Focus'?
This was on sky Movies 2 (i think) on Tues. I missed the 1st 25mins but saw the rest.
Drama set during world war 2 in a small neighbourhood & is about racism against a jewish family (or possibly just the 'father' who sets up a newsagents - missed start so can't really tell - don't see much of a family throughout the rest of film either way) that move into the area. Good cast - William H Macy, Laura Dern & of course Meat who plays, unsurprisingly a 'bad guy'. Meat is very good & manages to be equal parts nice & menacing throughout. Anyone else catch this? *Edit* I thought it was good by the way , not usually what I go for but I enjoyed it anyway - real eye opener |

Yeah- the greatest thing about Meat as an actor, is that he doesn't seem to have an 'ego' he really steps out of the way and serves the character- in this case a very unlikeable one!
It's a phenomenal film, IMO |

I agree with u, most actors these days seem to have really big egos and seem 2 get stuck in the same roles.

I think he is incredibly talented, not many actors can sing or singers can act, but he is the best of both words.
Good film, i also enjoyed it. I think sky onnly just started running it, no doubt we will be able to catch it a few more times in december |

Yes sky have only just started showing it, the showing the other night was the premiere, so it should be on a few more times over the next couple of months

I've just finished watching it. It was a very thought provoking film as the main characters weren't jews but other people thought they were and treated them as such. Meat Loaf was very good as the 'nice' neighbour that you know is no good.
Well I just had to post straight away as I enjoyed it. |
