I have LOVED Barry Gibb eversince I was 9 years old.
But after seeing the Darkness once in Germany...I couldn't wait until at the second German show, the supporting-act was over...I know I am not usually this 'negative' but I didn't like the voacals one bit. The music was very loud...but 'okay'. I 'love' falsetto but the Darkness is not my cup of tea. Have any of you seen them live? Because I saw them on tv and liked it a LOT better? Just curious. Great day to you, Mariella |

I saw them open the Glastonbury festival this year and i've been hooked ever since.
I know they are not everyones cup of tea, but lets face it there's not much rock in the charts at the moment or for a long while so it's like a breath of fresh air and can only be a good thing for any rock fan. They might even get the xmas number 1 if you all go and buy their single 'Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) out tomorrow (mon 15th dec) God I should get a cut in the royalties for promoting them so much. |

The Darkness are a big thing right now, they've just started their takeover bid in the U.S. and it looks to be going well. And no, they're not a novelty band. . .
