This is tough! Every time I think I have it narrowed down to one I realize that there is another that I can't possibly leave out. I can narrow it down to....5! Paradise- my first Meat song, the one that started all of this for me! I'd Lie for You- the most painfully romantic Meat song. Left in the Dark- classic. Everything Louder Than Everything Else- Meat at his rockin' best and Objects- epic and wonderful.

Sherrie (sorry, I guess 5 doesn't qualify as a proper "very favorite")

Sooo hard to pick just one.....I'd have to say Bat Out of Hell as I am always touting that one as the best r-n-r songs ever.

I think my 2 favorites are:
Bat Out of Hell
For Crying Out Loud

But here's 10 more I can't live without:
Did I Say That
Decadent Wish
Out of the Frying Pan
Couldn't Have Said It Better
Two Out of Three
I'm Gonna Love Her for Both of Us
Why Isn't That Enough
Home By Now
Paradise by the Dashboard Light
Man of Steel

I better sign off before I quickly type 10 more
Nothing like pleasantly wasting time on a Saturday afternoon

My 2 favorites are :

Paradise By The Dashboard Light -- because watching Meat and Patti sing it on VH1 Storytellers (1999) is what got me hooked on his music

Did I Say That -- because the level of emotion that Meat brings to the song on the CD is nothing short of amazing. It's the one song from CHSIB that I truly hope I get to see him sing live someday :)

It is really hard to choose one, you really can't. But just to give you an answer, my favourite would be, my opinions change often.

Bat Out Of Hell: Bat Out Of Hell
Dead Ringer: I'll Kill You If You Don't Come Back
Midnight At The Lost & Found: --------------- (Never heard enough to know)
Bad Attitude: Piece Of The Action
Blind Before I Stop: -------------------------- (Never heard enough to know)
Back Into Hell: Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are
Welcome To The Neighborhood: Amnesty Is Granted
The Very Best Of Meat Loaf: A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste
Couldn't Have Said It Better: Did I Say That?
<Rare Singles>: Decadent Wish

I like all of Meat's songs for many reasons, and just because there is an answer here, that could change by tomorow.

Bold Is My Favourite record

For me its "Objects in the rear view mirror" - I was a battered child - my mother, not my dad. The first time I heard it, it was my story I saw. Can't leave out "I'd lie for you" and "Out of the frying pan" and "DIST".

Is there any songs where Meat sings about someone getting betrayed. Oh yeah, that's right. CHEATIN' IN YOUR DREAMS is one of my ultimate favourites but I quite dislike GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER.

So hard to decide...I'll just have to post three:
For Crying Out Loud
A Kiss is A Terrible Thing to Waste
Two Out of Three Ain't Bad
I know three doesn't really count as one, but at least I didn't post all of them.
